Course Description

Delegation is one of the most important leadership skills that move you from what you can do to what you can manage. It is a major key to maximising your productivity amid tight deadlines and large workload. There is no doubt that one of the most difficult transition for leaders is to shift from doing to leading.


This course will teach you how to become effective at delegation so you can leverage the talents of your team and be more productive. It takes you through the delegation process, from identifying tasks, to matching the right task to the right person and monitoring effectiveness. You will also be equipped with the techniques to communicate feedback effectively to motivate and refine the skills of your team.

  • Differentiate the tasks that can be delegated and tasks that you need to undertake
  • Apply the basic concepts of delegating and monitoring effectively

  • Apply the SBI and SBIBI models to structure positive and developmental feedback
