Course Description

Capital planning is an integral part of a business’s strategy planning process. Obtaining appropriate and timely financing through optimisation of debt and equity supports the company in the pursuit of objectives at each phase of its business life cycle. 


This course will explore the conceptual fundamentals and practical applications of capital planning involving capital structure, financing options and cost of capital. It also illustrates the capital planning process that may be applied in real life business situations.
